HALLYU GODDNESSS IU IS MAKING HER
FIRST APPEARANCE IN KUALA LUMPUR
FOR 2019 IU TOUR CONCERT

Can you believe that it has already been 11 years since IU has debuted? Hallyu goddness IU (Lee Ji Eun) will be holding a fanmeeting to catch up with her fans and after that, it was said that she will also be holding a tour concert named “LOVE, POEM”. Galaxy Group is proudly announcing the K-Pop goddess (ì—¬ì‹ ) IU will be paying her first visit in Malaysia with 2019 IU Tour Concert <Love, Poem> on the 21st December 2019, 7pm at Axiata Arena, Bukit Jalil.

Prepping up for her year-end concert tour, IU will visit key Asian cities apart from domestic stops in South Korea. Beginning November, IU will kickstart the concert series with a four-city stop in South Korea. Staging a weekend concert in Kwangju on November 2 and 3, she will head to Incheon and Busan on November 16 and 23. She will finish the local leg of the tour with another weekend concert in Seoul on November 23 and 24.
Thereafter, the multi-talented artist will commence her overseas tour on November 30 and December 1 in Taipei. She will swing by at Singapore on December 6 and 7; and Manila on December 13. The tour will extend to Kuala Lumpur, Bangkok and Jakarta on December 21, 24 and 28 respectively.
IU, also known as Lee Ji-Eun, South Korean singer and actress, made her debut when she was 15-year-old with the album ‘Lost and Found’. Her subsequent releases, ‘Growing up’ and ‘IU…IM’ gained mainstream success but it was through ‘Good Day’, the lead single from her 2010 album “Real’ where she became a household name and established herself as one of the top-selling solo artists in Korea. She is also the top charted artiste with the most number-one hits on Billboard Korea, with a sum of ten songs as number-one hits. Her newest singles ‘BBIBBI’ which is released in 2018, is also one of them.

Aside from her music career, IU also ventured into radio hosting, variety shows as well as acting. She started her acting career through drama ‘Dream High’ and has since starred in several dramas, including the Korean adaption of hit Chinese historical drama ‘Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo’ alongside Lee Joon Ki. Her latest drama, ‘Hotel del Luna’, in which she starred alongside Yeo Jin Goo, was a huge success and made a mark on tvN’s broadcast history with the production of the drama.
