CARATS WERE GEARED UP WITH THEIR CARAT BONGS TO WELCOME THE BOYS, SEVENTEEN

Kuala Lumpur, 24 September 2018 - Seventeen made their way to Kuala Lumpur for their 'Ideal Cut' tour and Carats were so excited to see them live again! MINES International Exhibition & Convention Centre was packed with Carats and they were geared up with their Carat Bongs, lightsticks, headbands, and banners to welcome the boys. 2018 SEVENTEEN CONCERT "IDEAL CUT" IN KUALA LUMPUR was a night that fans are not going to forget.
After a successful ‘Diamond Edge’ concert tour last year in Malaysia which also held in September, Seventeen are back again with new tour, ‘Ideal Cut’ and this time, it was organized by Fast Track Events Sdn Bhd. The boys returned to Malaysia to perform for the second time and it's safe to say that most Carats are not over it.
Seventeen has 13 members: S.Coups, Jeonghan, DK, The8, Woozi, Joshua, Seungkwan, Jun, Vernon, Wonwoo, Mingyu, Hoshi and Dino. They are made up of 3 units (vocal, hip hop and performance). They have recently risen to popularity in the scene, famed as the ‘self producing idols’ for playing a huge part in the production of their music and choreography.
The door was open an hour before concert kicks off with a running duration of 2 hours and a half. All 13 members graced the stage with their presence before launching into the special rendition of “Highlight”, a song previously done specifically by the performance unit of the group. Seventeen has sang more than 25 songs on that night including their popular songs like Thanks, Pretty U, Adore U, Oh My!, Clap and Very Nice, energizing Carats even more throughout the show!
They also took the stage in units with each team performing 2 songs. Hip hop team heated up the stage first with their classic song, Un Haeng Il Chi and Sukyo. Vocal Team serenading the fans with Habit and Pinwheel. Performance team for the final team segment made an outstanding performance through Swimming Fool and JamJam.
The boys were as cheerful as ever to meet the fans, taking their time to say hello individually. The Chinese members, Jun and The8, felt especially comfortable conversing in Mandarin with the crowd. A funniest mistake took place with Hoshi, as he mistakenly introduced himself as a ‘princess’. They also had a random free style rap battle between the non-rapping members. Somehow morphing into a dance off between Seungkwan and Dino, the 2 youngest members of the group. It was a good fun for both the members and the fans as they played along for the rest of the night.
Mingyu actually made a request to fans to put away their mobile phones for a moment to just enjoy the final song together with them. However it was an obvious fail. He scolded the fans playfully and told them to live in the moment more. Carats truly understood what the members meant, and let loose one last time to the addictive pulsating beat of the song.
As the show coming to an end, The members also expressed how grateful they are with all the love and gifts they are still receiving from Malaysian Carats. Last but not least, each of the members expressed sincere gratitude and promised to come back to Malaysia again and wishes that everyone would still attend their coming concert tour.
