For those who love ramen, Pavilion KL will be having another ramen store for you to dine in this coming April. Aori Ramen is South Korea's popular Japanese ramen joint owned by Big Bang member Seungri. The 27 years old singer has been running different businesses including bars and pharmaceutical companies. And now, he has been making a name for his Japanese ramen store by opening 14 international outlets ever since their launch in 2016.
The Malaysian outlet will be the 15th restaurant in the franchise as fans eagerly wait for the launch. Previously, posts on Aori Ramen Malaysia’s Instagram account announced that they would be opening in February 2018 but it has been delayed.
Now, the latest update is that it is set to open in April 2018 and we can’t be more excited! There has been no word about their official opening date or the menu at the restaurant but many fans have been saying that they hope the restaurant would have halal offerings.
Aori Ramen is best known for its tonkotsu ramen. It’s a traditional Hakata-style ramen with a pork-based broth that has chashu pork belly, braised egg, and crushed garlic. Since opening its first branch in Cheongdam-dong on December 2016, Aori Ramen has since expanded to more than a dozen outlets.
Marking the 15th outlet to open outside of South Korea, Aori Ramen is a Japanese ramen joint that has won many raving reviews on its amazing menu and, of course, with a K-pop artist like Seungri as its proprietor, long queues are guaranteed daily!
On the top of the list, we look forward to trying the Tonkotsu Ramen, a signature at Aori Ramen. We can’t wait! It will be located on Level 6 of Pavilion Kuala Lumpur and will be open sometime in April 2018! Let’s hope Seungri himself would make an appearance for the grand opening!
